About the Role

Decagon is looking for someone to join the Business Operations & Strategy team to lead commercial and pricing strategy. The Business Operations & Strategy team sits within the Founder's Office, a team of high-agency generalists and ex-founders with extremely high leverage and own things like partnerships, business development, pricing strategy, AI transformation, data/analytics, growth, etc.

Your primary goal will be to accelerate and streamline our enterprise go-to-market motion - working closely with our GTM team to close deals. Initiatives will range from developing pricing & packaging strategy, to building internal deal and pricing processes, to proposal creation and negotiation across our enterprise customer base.

This is an exciting role blending strategic thinking and high-caliber execution. We are looking for highly-motivated problem solvers who combine analytical rigor with world-class relationship building skills.

In this role, you will

• Own end-to-end deal structuring for enterprise opportunities, partnering directly with account executives and sales leaders to build proposals and drive deals to close

• Work to develop and refine Decagons pricing and packaging strategy

• Build and scale internal commercial processes as the company expands

• Collect and analyze pricing and deal data to shape high level company strategy

• Be a thought leader in how to price agentic AI solutions

Your background looks something like this

• 3+ years of experience in consulting / investment banking / investing / high-velocity startups

• Deep curiosity and desire to solve hard problems

• Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where you shape solutions as much as you implement them

• Strong cross-functional collaborator - youve worked regularly with finance and legal teams

• Strong communicator - both verbal and written

Even better if you have

• Experience building or scaling a deal desk function at a high-growth or early-stage company

• Previously led implementation of a CPQ platform

• Familiarity with consumption-based or usage-based pricing models in addition to traditional SaaS subscription structures

• SQL or other data analytics experience
