Description Weyerhaeuser''s Western Timberlands Division has openings for full-time Blackhawk Mechanics based out of the McMinnville, Oregon hangar. Duties will be performed at the hangar as well as in a forest environment. As a UH-60/S-70 helicopter mechanic, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities on Weyerhaeuser's rotor wing aircraft operating under FAA Part 133 and 137. Reporting directly to the Aviation Maintenance Manager, this role supports safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operations across utility, firefighting and agriculture activities. This position performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, approved maintenance programs, and company procedures. It plays a key role in maintaining aircraft readiness through disciplined maintenance execution, accurate documentation, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Mechanics work collaboratively with maintenance leadership, flight crews and support teams to minimize aircraft downtime while supporting a strong culture of safety and professionalism. Key Functions Perform progressive, phase, isochronal, hourly, calendar, and special inspections Troubleshoot, repair, remove, install, rig, and function check aircraft systems and components Maintain engines, transmissions, rotor systems, drive systems, and mechanical flight controls Perform servicing, lubrication, corrosion control, and functional checks Accurately document all maintenance actions using electronic maintenance tracking systems Support aircraft recovery, AOG response, and field maintenance activities Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard free work environment
