As part of their growing operation, you will be responsible for moving steel plates through the blast line, operating vibrating tables, and monitoring machines and robots for defects or malfunctions. Hours
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM 10:30 PM, on-site
Pay
$16.00/hr
Key Responsibilities- Moving steel plates through the blast line and operating vibrating tables as assigned
- Monitoring machine and robot operation for defects or malfunctions
- Making simple adjustments to machinery as needed
- Following verbal instructions from supervisors
- Keeping the work area clean and organized in compliance with safety rules
- Reporting abnormal conditions of equipment to supervision
- Maintaining situational awareness around moving machinery and coworkers
- Upholding all safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment at all times
Minimum Requirements- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Ohio Drivers License
- Strong mathematical skills and good hand-eye coordination
- Dependable, reliable, and eager to learn company processes
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
Nice to Have Skills- Experience operating forklifts, welders, or other heavy industrial equipment
- Previous experience in a steel or manufacturing environment
Preferred Education and Experience- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior experience in heavy industrial or steel fabrication environments is a plus
Other Requirements- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the shift
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
- Tolerance for working in varying temperatures
- Ability to respond quickly to sounds and potential hazards
- Proper use of personal protective equipment at all times
