The Blending Associate is responsible for supporting daily blending operations in a manufacturing environment. This role oversees the blending room workflow, helps maintain production schedules, and ensures raw materials are blended accurately, safely, and on time. The Blending Associate plays a key role in meeting production goals while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area
Key Responsibilities
Execute and support the daily blend schedule to meet production goals.
Assign daily tasks to blending staff and temporary workers.
Monitor operator performance and progress against production schedules.
Assist blenders with staging, scaling, sanitation, and running blending equipment.
Maintain daily blending summaries and performance documentation.
Coordinate with Production to keep schedules on track.
Work with Maintenance to ensure preventative maintenance is completed.
Oversee general operations of the blending room.
Monitor raw material inventory levels and report potential shortages.
Ensure blending areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Follow GMPs, quality procedures, and company policies.
Perform minor equipment maintenance and repairs as directed.
Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials according to formulas.
Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Up to one year of manufacturing or related experience preferred.
Knowledge of GMPs and Quality Assurance practices.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Ability to understand formulas and mixing instructions.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Frequent walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
Push/pull up to 50 lbs frequently.
Work performed near moving machinery.
