Blender Operator -(2nd shift Bilingual) SFE

· Comply with all safety processes and procedures.

· Inspects product to verify conformance to customer specifications, including proper application of ingredients/materials.

· Records all ingredients received and used during each shift.

• Measure and blend ingredients according to batch sheet instructions and monitor blending process.

· Operates auxiliary equipment associated with the operations of the machine including but not limited to weigh scales, conveyor systems, etc

· Ensures blender is maintained in a sanitary condition.

· Recommends measures to improve methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

· Analyzes production problems and assists team members in solving them.

· Maintains process control paperwork

· Ensure test pieces are fed through metal detector per SOP frequency.

· Ability to make weight adjustments on filler/Control seal bar temperature / dwell time and pressure

· Ensure product is being fed through metal detector. Ensure test pieces are fed through metal detector per SOP frequency.

· Operates other packaging related equipment such as conveyors, tape machines, hand jacks, etc.

· Sets up and break down of machine(s). Correctly disassemble blender, sifter, cluster collector/Clean and sanitize equipment and work area.

· Obtain all required paperwork for shift (e.g, scale verification, batch blend, time blend)

· Train all new employees and general laborers on duties needed to maintain line.

· Ensures that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety requirements and a focus on continuous improvement.

· Reports any unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety-related issues to Management.

· Perform general labor duties assigned, and other duties assigned by management.
