    Description

    We are seeking a Technician to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and possess mechanical knowledge to excel in this role.

    Blending Technician - Positional Responsibilities & Duties

    • Responsible for ensuring scales are within calibration window and verifying that they are level and functioning properly by using certified weights.
    • Responsible for weighing each raw material as listed in the Weighing Raw Materials section of the Batch Manufacturing Record
    • Closely following the Blending and Weigh Up SOP
    • Receiving visual verification and initial from blending lead before removing the product from the scale
    • Using a different scoop when changing raw materials
    • Properly sealing bags and boxes when a raw material is no longer needed and providing it to the Blending Lead to carry out the proper return process
    • Entering lot number and amount within NetSuite on the work order as each raw material is weighed.
    • Responsible for blending the powder blends ensuring that the P1, P2 blends are properly mixed and ready to be used.
    • Properly cleaning the scales and weigh up room as required by the A-Clean procedure.

    Qualifications:

    - Previous experience in a food industry setting, restaurant, or kitchen environment is preferred.

    - Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.

    - Proficiency in food handling practices and adherence to hygiene regulations.

    - Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
