Garelick Farms Dairy Farmers of America is excited to announce an opening for a Blow Mold Operator 2nd Shift.

We offer excellent benefits and competitive pay with great growth opportunities. External Candidate - $1500.00 sign-on bonus.

2nd Shift: Mondays through Fridays, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Rate: $20.00 per hour, $1.50 shift differential. Shift differences: 2nd and 3rd Shifts.

GENERAL PURPOSE

Operate plastic blow molding machines to ensure production of containers is made in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner according to established company policies and procedures.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles. • Operate bagger and debagger stations. • Troubleshoot and implement minor repairs of blow mold equipment. • Train others on blow Mold operations. • Maintain open communication with other departments, management, and employees to notify of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict efficiency. • Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOPs. • Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality throughput and troubleshoot. • Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes. • Report any food safety and food quality-related issues to management immediately. • Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues. • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
