Blue Yonder Technofunctional Consultant

Summary:

We are looking for a Blue Yonder (BY) / JDA WMS Techno-Functional Consultant / Technical Lead with strong hands-on experience in Blue Yonder WMS, MOCA, PL/SQL, JDA Connect, and WMS integrations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for approximately 70% technical delivery and 30% stakeholder/client management. The candidate should have experience in Blue Yonder/JDA WMS implementation, customization, integration, troubleshooting, and production support, along with strong communication and client-facing skills.

The candidate will act as a key technical point of contact for client discussions in the Pacific Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute Blue Yonder/JDA WMS implementation and customization projects.
• Develop and customize WMS functionality using MOCA scripting.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex BY WMS technical issues.
• Develop, debug, and maintain integrations between BY WMS and enterprise systems such as ERP, TMS, and MES.
• Troubleshoot integrations using JDA Connect and Integrator.
• Work extensively with PL/SQL/SQL for database analysis, troubleshooting, and development.
• Analyze application logs, interfaces, database transactions, and WMS processes to identify root causes.
• Design and develop technical solutions based on business and client requirements.
• Create and execute test cases, integration testing, system testing, and performance testing.
• Identify opportunities for WMS optimization, performance improvement, and scalability.
• Support defect identification, bug tracking, resolution, and deployment activities.
• Coordinate with offshore/onshore technical teams, vendors, project managers, and client stakeholders.
• Participate in technical discussions with clients and provide regular status updates.
• Own technical issues from identification through resolution and closure.
• Act as the technical face of the organization for client discussions in the Pacific Time Zone.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Blue Yonder WMS / JDA WMS.
• Experience with BY WMS 2019, 2024, and/or other recent versions.
• Strong hands-on MOCA development and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong PL/SQL / SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with JDA Connect.
• Experience with Integrator and WMS integrations.
• Experience implementing and customizing Blue Yonder/JDA WMS.
• Experience integrating WMS with ERP / TMS / MES / third-party systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with testing, defect management, and production support.

Good to Have:

• Experience with WCS (Warehouse Control Systems).
• Experience with warehouse automation / mechanized warehouse systems.
• Experience with NiceLabel.
• Experience with Jasper Reports.
• Experience working on large-scale warehouse implementation projects.
• Experience working directly with global clients and vendors.

Stakeholder Management Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, vendors, program managers, and technical teams.
• Ability to manage technical discussions, issues, risks, and dependencies.
• Strong ownership and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive issues to closure.
• Willingness and ability to work in the Pacific Time Zone.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a Blue Yonder/JDA WMS Technical Consultant, Senior Consultant, Techno-Functional Consultant, or Technical Lead with strong experience in:

Blue Yonder WMS + MOCA + PL/SQL + JDA Connect + Integrations + WMS Implementation + Client/Stakeholder Management

Candidates with only functional WMS experience or only generic SQL/PLSQL experience without hands-on Blue Yonder/JDA WMS experience will not be considered.
