Where you’ll work: Harvey, Illinois
Compensation: $21–$23/hour (weekly pay)
Shift: 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 3:30 pm–12:00 am (with initial training on 1st shift, 7:00 am–3:30 pm)

Your impact

Join a fast‑growing automotive operation and turn customer drawings into production‑ready weldments. You’ll blend accuracy and speed—applying GMAW, FCAW, and/or SAW in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions—while safeguarding quality and safety.

What success looks like in your first 90 days

1. Master print reading for the product mix and set up equipment confidently.
2. Deliver consistent welds, identify basic defects, and self‑correct to stay within spec.
3. Use measuring tools, fabrication equipment, grinders, and air‑arc (carbon‑arc) effectively.
4. Partner with production and engineering to troubleshoot and refine weld approaches.
5. Work independently, meet production goals, and uphold safety expectations.

Role type and team

This is a contract‑to‑hire position. After conversion to full‑time, the role is part of a union workforce.
