How you’ll make an impact

• Turn technical drawings into accurate assemblies using MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Verify your work through careful inspection and testing to meet quality standards.
• Keep tools and machines in top condition with routine setup and maintenance.
• Coordinate with peers to plan work, minimize waste, and hit deadlines and budgets.
• Champion safety by following procedures and keeping the work area organized.
• Support and mentor junior welders to elevate shop performance.

What it takes

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training a plus.
• Demonstrated welding experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or construction.
• Solid understanding of welding techniques and shop safety practices.
• Proven ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with practical problem‑solving ability.
• Self‑starter who also collaborates well in a team setting.
• Certification in welding is advantageous but not required.
