How you’ll make an impact
Turn technical drawings into accurate assemblies using MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Verify your work through careful inspection and testing to meet quality standards.
Keep tools and machines in top condition with routine setup and maintenance.
Coordinate with peers to plan work, minimize waste, and hit deadlines and budgets.
Champion safety by following procedures and keeping the work area organized.
Support and mentor junior welders to elevate shop performance.
What it takes
High school diploma or GED; vocational training a plus.
Demonstrated welding experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or construction.
Solid understanding of welding techniques and shop safety practices.
Proven ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Strong attention to detail with practical problem‑solving ability.
Self‑starter who also collaborates well in a team setting.
Certification in welding is advantageous but not required.
