Job Description
Safar Staffing is seeking an experienced IBM iSeries Programmer/Analyst to support enterprise applications running in an IBM i / AS400 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot IBM iSeries applications
- Analyze business and technical requirements
- Develop and maintain applications using RPG IV, RPGLE, and CL/CLLE
- Work with DB2 for i and SQL databases
- Support batch processing, interfaces, reports, and production systems
- Troubleshoot application and system issues
- Test, document, and deploy application changes
- Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong IBM i / iSeries / AS400 experience
- RPG IV and RPGLE programming experience
- CL/CLLE experience
- DB2 for i and SQL knowledge
- Experience supporting enterprise production applications
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Legacy application modernization experience is a plus
