The primary focus is on Niagara 4 (N4) HMI/GUI development, Honeywell SCADA/BMS system configuration and integration, and programming systems that monitor various environmental and process variables.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and standardize Niagara 4 (N4) HMI screens, dashboards, and navigation structures.
  • Build operator-focused interfaces including equipment views, system dashboards, alarm views, trend visualizations, and diagnostic interfaces.
  • Implement consistent standards for naming conventions, tagging, graphics templates, and UX flow.
  • Configure and support Honeywell SCADA/BMS platforms, including alarm configuration, historical trending, and system-level visualization.
  • Integrate Niagara front-end with underlying control systems and supervisory data layers.
  • Modify, configure, and troubleshoot PLC/control logic for HVAC systems, cooling infrastructure, and utility/process systems.
  • Ensure accurate system representation of field instrumentation such as temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, and control valves.
  • Perform point mapping, tagging, and database structuring between field devices and SCADA/BMS platforms.
  • Configure communication across protocols such as BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, and Modbus TCP/RTU.
  • Execute and support system validation, trend analysis, alarm verification, and remote troubleshooting.
  • Support commissioning teams remotely by validating graphics, data accuracy, and system responses.
