Duties
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments to assist the team in developing data driven individualized Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Design, implement, and monitor comprehensive Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) that align with IEP goals.
- Assist in the implementation of Behavioral Intervention Plans.
- Collect and summarize behavior data for the purpose of assessing and monitoring student progress with visual data tracking graphs to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
- Actively participate on various educational teams to support proactive and responsive behavioral interventions to support students with challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure team understanding of student behavioral performance, strengths, and needs through evaluation, educational program planning, and service delivery.
- Provide modeling and feedback to educational staff in the implementation of evidence based behavioral and instructional practices.
- Provide or assist in professional development training to educational staff, parents, or community on evidence-based behavior management strategies and other topics as needed.
- Support the districts crisis team (e.g., CPI or Safety-Care) and assist in debriefing after significant behavioral incidents.
- Prepares timely and accurate reports and data including Medicaid.
- Proficiently use technology to communicate, compile reports, and collect data.
- Participate in building or program activities and meetings as appropriate.
- Demonstrates confidentiality in relationships.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Illinois Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA).
- Successful experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) within the previous three years.
- Strong instructional, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Salary/Benefits
Salary: Starting rate of $55,000.
Benefits: IMRF Pension.
