Phaxis Education is actively seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for school-based opportunities in the Baltimore, MD area.
We are looking to connect with BCBAs who may be interested in supporting students for the 2026–2027 school year, with the potential for ESY/summer work this year depending on school needs and candidate availability.
This is a great opportunity for a BCBA who enjoys working collaboratively with school teams, supporting behavior programming, and helping students access learning through effective intervention strategies.
Position Overview
As a School-Based BCBA, you may support students, teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers through behavior consultation, assessment, plan development, staff coaching, and ongoing support.
Responsibilities may include:
Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments
Developing and updating Behavior Intervention Plans
Providing staff training and behavior coaching
Supporting classroom teams with behavior strategies and implementation
Tracking data and monitoring student progress
Collaborating with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
Supporting RBTs or Behavior Technicians, if applicable
Participating in IEP meetings and providing behavior-related recommendations
Maintaining documentation in alignment with school and district expectations
Qualifications
Active BCBA certification required
Maryland licensure preferred, or ability to obtain if required by the assignment
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable supporting students with a range of behavioral, developmental, and educational needs
Compensation
Pay is competitive and negotiable based on:

School-based or clinical background
Schedule availability
Level of support needed by the school
ESY and/or school-year commitment
