Position Overview

As a BCBA at AOK, you will oversee clinical programming for children with autism and developmental disabilities across home, school, and community settings throughout Virginia.

You will design individualized treatment plans, mentor behavior technicians, collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to the continued development of high-quality clinical systems.

We are especially interested in clinicians who enjoy mentoring staff and helping cultivate a strong, supportive clinical culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill-based assessments
  • Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans
  • Supervise, train, and mentor RBTs and paraprofessionals
  • Analyze clinical data and make evidence-based program modifications
  • Collaborate closely with families and caregivers
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary providers and school teams
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Ensure ethical, compliant, and high-quality service delivery
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities

Qualifications

Required

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing
  • Eligibility for Virginia licensure
  • Experience providing ABA services to children with developmental disabilities
  • Strong clinical judgment and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to ethical, family-centered care
  • Ability and willingness to travel within assigned service areas
  • Virginia Base Clearance (required)
