Valid driver's license with own transportation 7. Knowledge of appropriate referral procedures8. Excellent report-writing skills9. Calm, compassionate, empathetic, and patient10. The ability to remain composed and adherent to best practices,even under duress11. Ability to pass the required Criminal History Review and theSexual Misconduct/Child Abuse Disclosure GENERAL DESCRIPTION: To assist the Director of Student Services and Programs and Supervisors of Student Servicesand Programs, as assigned, in the provision of services for students in accordance with federaland state laws, rules and regulations, to ensure high quality and equal educational opportunitiesfor all pupils. To provide coordination, management and supervision of the following: District ASD Programs District MD Programs Oversee the RBTs Provide Sta Training Handle With Care Train the Trainer Curriculum Coach Assist with District Behavior Plans Hamilton Opens Pathways to Excellence

Board Approval - 6-14-2023 RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:1. The BCBA will be responsible for working with, collaborating, and modifyingthe district programs utilizing the approved curriculums.2. The BCBA will work with a population of students that have Autism SpectrumDisorders, emotional control issues and to oversee the services provided by oursta.3. Conducting behavioral evaluations, where diagnostic assessments may beperformed.4. Meeting with families, educators, and sta to obtain better insight intostudents' presenting concerns.5. Conducting naturalistic observation of students.6. Oversee and assist with students' progress and updating progress towardsgoals.7. Work with sta to formulate appropriate treatment plans that are sensitive tostudents' cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs.8. Administering treatment and tailoring interventions.9. Providing training for educational assistants.10. Providing training and supervision to Registered Behavioral Technicians.11. Remaining abreast of changes in research on evidence-based practices.12. Perform such other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Student Services and Programs or designee. WORKING LOCATION: District WORK YEAR: September 1 through June 30, plus twenty workdays between July 1 and August 30 (Eleven months per year.) EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with the Board's policies and procedures on evaluation of personnel. SALARY: Unaffiliated Employee.
