This contract position offers the opportunity to provide guidance, create positive behavioral change, and collaborate with dedicated educational professionals. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you'll have a direct impact on students' progress and well-being, working within a supportive environment focused on teamwork and best practices.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Hold and maintain current certification as a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Maryland.
  • Possess an active National BCBA credential.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
  • Proven background collaborating with IEP teams to develop, implement, and train staff on Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Strong commitment to monitoring fidelity of BIP implementation and data collection for ongoing improvement.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Ability to engage in interdisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Full-time; Monday through Friday, 35 daytime hours per week.
  • Conduct comprehensive FBAs for students in the Intensive Needs Program.
  • Work collaboratively with IEP team members to design and implement BIPs tailored to individual student needs.
  • Train staff and monitor ongoing fidelity and effectiveness of interventions.
  • Ensure timely and thorough data collection as part of BIP monitoring and improvement.
  • Participate in regular interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to ongoing professional dialogue.
  • Keep up-to-date documentation aligned with program and compliance requirements.
