ANTICIPATED VACANCY

2026 - 2027 School Year

Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Licensed Behavior Analyst

(Probationary)

Qualifications:

• Must hold or be in process to obtain BCBA certificate or LBA license

• Current NYS certification in School Psychology OR School Social Work strongly preferred

• Experience with elementary students in highly restrictive programs (8:1:3)

• Experience with ABA, FBAs and BIPs

• Experience implementing crisis intervention plans

• CPI certification and experience a plus

• Experience working closely with teachers, related service providers, and other staff collaboratively to ensure accurate implementation of plans

• Ability to analyze data to improve behavioral and instructional practice and student learning outcomes

• Experience working with elementary students preferred

• Ability to engage in self-reflection with regard to performance and professional growth; actively seeks professional learning opportunities

Compensation will be in accordance with the Valley Stream Teachers Association Agreement
