Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Licensed Behavior Analyst
(Probationary)
Qualifications:
Must hold or be in process to obtain BCBA certificate or LBA license
Current NYS certification in School Psychology OR School Social Work strongly preferred
Experience with elementary students in highly restrictive programs (8:1:3)
Experience with ABA, FBAs and BIPs
Experience implementing crisis intervention plans
CPI certification and experience a plus
Experience working closely with teachers, related service providers, and other staff collaboratively to ensure accurate implementation of plans
Ability to analyze data to improve behavioral and instructional practice and student learning outcomes
Experience working with elementary students preferred
Ability to engage in self-reflection with regard to performance and professional growth; actively seeks professional learning opportunities
Compensation will be in accordance with the Valley Stream Teachers Association Agreement
