Step into a fulfilling role supporting high schools for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate closely with a team of dedicated school psychologists and administrative professionals, making a meaningful difference in students' lives.
You'll work full-time, 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, itinerantly across several nearby high schools. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), observations, implementing behavioral interventions, and developing effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). The position especially values experience working with ED student populations and using effective crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
Ideal Qualifications:
- BCBA certification with active BACB license
- At least one year of school-based experience, particularly in high school settings
- Demonstrated expertise in ABA within educational environments
- Familiarity with supporting emotionally disturbed (ED) students
- Training in crisis intervention and de-escalation
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
- Access to reliable transportation for itinerant travel
