What to expect.

As a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) you:

  • Are responsible for the timely completion of functional behavioral assessments and behavioral intervention plans on all children assigned to the Autism program.
  • Prepare Positive Behavior Support and Management Plans, train staff in their administration, and reassess and revise plans as needed.
  • Supervise Assistant Behavior Specialist(s) and/or Resource Specialist(s) assigned to program.
  • Work with education and treatment team; serve as a resource to teachers, staff, and family regarding behavior support and management.
  • Depending on credentials and licensure, may work independently or under appropriate supervision by a licensed professional.

The pay range for this position is $58,401.82 to $90,195.04/year. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.

What we need from you.

  • Requires Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, behavioral psychology, special education or closely related field of study and 2-3 years’ behavior assessment and management experience with assigned patient population and persons with developmental disabilities and/or autism. 
    • Internal candidates with Bachelor’s degrees and 4-5 years relevant experience will be considered, provided they are enrolled in Master’s degree programs upon hire into the position and remain enrolled until completion. 
  • Work requires possession of BCBAat the time of appointment and continuously while in the position. Possession of supervision certification is a plus. Possession of LBA is a plus. 
  • Requires experience with computer software, including Microsoft Excel, and data collection and analysis.
