Farmers Market Fund is seeking New Board Members!

At Farmers Market Fund we strengthen Oregon's food system to better serve people experiencing food insecurity. Applications are now open for those interested in board service! We are especially looking for board members living outside of Portland, with expertise in financial oversight, fundraising, organizational growth and development, and navigating risk and legal issues. Previous board service is encouraged but not required. Farmers, market managers, and those with direct experience with hunger are encouraged to apply!

FMF's main program is Double Up Food Bucks, a SNAP matching program at farmers markets and farm stands across Oregon. Double Up is a triple win: families bring home more fruits and veggies, small and mid-sized farmers get a financial boost, and Oregon's economy thrives.

Board members can expect to volunteer an average of 5 - 6 hours of their time per month through participation in board meetings and committee meetings.
