    Talk Radio 1210-AM WPHT in Philadelphia has openings for part-time Board Operators.

    Responsibilities

    What You''ll Do:

    Job responsibilities:

    • Run the control board, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and IDsaccording to program and commercial logs.
    • Operating the board during local and syndicated talk radio programs and sports events.
    • Screening calls during local call-in shows.
    • Researching broadcast topics, providing creative input on broadcast elements andcollaborating with hosts on show content.
    • Scheduling guests and live interviews.
    • Recording news, weather, and traffic feeds for broadcast.
    • Editing relevant video and audio sound bites for on-air use.
    • Contributing to social networking and website updates.
    • Producing and running live station remotes.
    • Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations.
    • Other duties as assigned by Manager.

    Qualifications

    Required & Preferred:

    • Candidates should have a good working knowledge of current events.Applicants must be available nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
    • Prior experience is a plus.
    • Experience using Adobe Suite editing applications like Audition and Premiere Pro.
    • Dependability and punctuality are a must.
    • Employees of Audacy are required to be a minimum of 21 years of age to operate any vehicle, including Company-owned, leased, rented, or personal vehicles, when such operation is conducted on behalf of Audacy. Driving is an essential function of this role.
    • A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant''s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
