The Secretary serves as a recording and corresponding officer and shall: Prepare and present
minutes, within 3 business days, for all business meetings, maintain a current list of all Board
members and their contact information, maintain a record in the minutes of all committee
members and monthly reports of those committees.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- Experience with note-taking, scheduling, or administrative support (or someone very interested in learning). Students highly encouraged
- Comfortable using tools like Google Docs, email, and calendars
- Interest in nonprofit governance or operations
- Must attend monthly board meetings. Usually once a month. Sometimes twice leading up to the event.
