Board Up Tech- Roofer

Job Summary 
We are seeking a dependable and hard-working Emergency Service Board-Up Technician to join our emergency response team. This role involves securing properties that have been damaged by fire, flood, storms, vandalism, or accidents. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, comfortable working at heights, and capable of responding quickly and professionally in high-pressure situations.


Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls to board up and secure residential and commercial properties
• Install temporary protective coverings over doors, windows, and other openings
• Safely use hand and power tools to perform boarding-up tasks
• Assess damage and communicate needs and next steps to team leads and clients
• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and inventory of materials
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company protocols
• Provide excellent customer service while on-site during emergencies

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
• Experience with basic construction tools and safety equipment preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Prior experience in construction or emergency services is a plus
• DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
• Experience driving trailers is a plus
