You'll have an opportunity to work beside a first-rate team of subject matter experts in the field of law, insurance, and business operations.Responsibilities Work with internal counsel in conjunction with claims to strategize, implement, and manage litigation cases, including trial and expense controlPlanning, taking, and defending depositionsPreparing and responding to pleadings and discoveryEvaluating and providing detailed analysis of assigned cases in accordance with CURE's staff counsel policies and proceduresCollaborating with CURE's insureds and Claims Department to establish, communicate, and implement team litigation objectives and obtain prompt resolution of claimsAttending motion hearings, arbitration hearings, and all other pre-trial mattersAbility to prepare for and try casesAbility to draft and argue post-trial motions and appealsExperience/Qualifications At least 3 years auto bodily injury and negligence litigation experience requiredExperience independently managing a caseload of bodily injury defense matters, working cases from beginning to end.
