Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Body Closures DRE for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate is responsible for responsible for component release, BOM management, root cause analysis, validation testing, and driving production issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle.

Rate Range: $40/Hour to $42/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Body Closures DRE Job Responsibilities include:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.

• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective hiring strategies.

• Utilize job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals, and networking channels to identify qualified talent.

• Conduct candidate assessments and interviews to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.

• Coordinate interview schedules, gather feedback, and maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.

• Maintain accurate recruitment records and track key hiring metrics to support workforce planning and continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• 2+ years of experience in Body Closures Engineering, specifically with Side Door Assemblies and opening/closing systems.

• Proficiency in CATIA/3DX, Teamcenter, and CAE analysis, with the ability to review, modify, and release components throughout the product lifecycle.

• Experience with component release, BOM management, Six Sigma methodologies, root cause analysis, validation testing, and production issue resolution for door structures, hinges, and check arms.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour
