Join the Sterling Collision Center Team! – Now Hiring Body Shop Apprentices
Sterling Collision Center is looking for motivated Body Shop Apprentices who are eager to learn, take pride in their work, and want to grow within a successful, family-owned and operated business serving the Acadiana area!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Body Shop Technicians with structural and non-structural vehicle repairs
- Learn to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition following industry standards and factory specifications
- Support repair and replacement tasks under the guidance of experienced technicians
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Properly handle and maintain tools and equipment
- Communicate repair progress with team members and leadership
- Participate in on-the-job training and complete required certifications
- Follow all dealership and industry safety policies and procedures
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous automotive or body shop experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and take direction
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and on a team
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old, or have a minimum of 3 years of driving history
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
