Develops implants and improves manufacturing production processes and methods.ResponsibilitiesDevelops best practices to improve production capacity quality and reliabilityDrive the implementation of continuous improvement processes for efficiency to create a Lean Manufacturing environment.Investigates problems analyzes root causes and derives resolutions. Will use 8D Problem Solving Process to ensure sustainable quality productsSupports operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectivesAssures product and process quality by designing testing methods testing finished- product and process capabilities establishing standards confirming manufacturing processesProvides input for budget preparation and monitor expenses and profitabilityWrites spec books requests and evaluation of supplier quotationsSupports the design documentation and implementation of medium-scale manufacturing processes. Checks feasibility of product changesPerforms a variety of moderately complex tasks relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsEvaluates current production activities and make recommendations for improvementsPeriodically ensures that highly technical equipment meets required specifications and high quality standardsProposes cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standardsContributes to product and process quality design testing methodsDevelops planning standards methods and proceduresPlans workplaces considering ergonomicsStays current with product specifications engineering technology and production processesAssist management in manpower distribution to achieve efficiency goalsProvides guidance to team members to accomplish production goalsHeavily involved in medium-scale projects from beginning to end.Participates in regularly scheduled team meetingsAdditional responsibilities include Leading the Cell Tech team in regards to structure repsonsilbities KPIs and training. Responsible for headcount planning and HPV target activities. Driving shop KPIs and creating weekly and monthly reports.Participates in regularly scheduled team meetingsWill perform other duties as assignedFinancial ResponsibilitiesBudget responsibilities to create reports for actual spending versus budget in running costs and internal projects Qualifikationen Bachelors Degree in Industrial Manufacturing Mechanical Electronics Electrical Engineering or other relevant degree required3-5 years of relevant expeirence required strongly preffered automotive such as Body in White Paint and AssemblyPLC experienceHands-on experience in off-line simulations3D-CAD experience such as Inventor SolidWorks Catia Siemens NX ect.Line Balancing time studies line layout planningNew Lean Concept waste reduction and parts presentationsKnowledge of manufacturing methodsprocedures and process technology.Able to perform essential functions of the job6 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degreeKnowledge and SkillsExperience and knowledge of manufacturing methodsprocedures and process technology.Ability to present technical information a plus.Proven written and verbal communication at all levels within the organization with good negotiation skills.Able to anticipate needs and deliver timely relevant solutions and actions.Knowledge of joining technologies such MigMag spot and laser welding and gluing a plusExperience in dimensional accuracy desired.Use of value stream mapping to identify opportunities for waste reduction is a plus.We are all in for change.
