Think, try, and thrive with us in collaborative work environments that spark game-changing concepts.\n \nShift: This position is being offered on 2nd shift\n \nEssential Job Functions may include:\n\n Machine feeding, set ups, operation of automated and robotic welding machines\n Monitor and set up machinery for optimal performance\n Sanding, grinding and deburring of metals\n Work with hand, power, and pneumatic tools\n Perform quality and visual inspection of final welds\n Assemble and fabricate metal structure according to work specifications\n Read and interpret diagrams and blueprints of the process\n Efficiently and safely load machines with required parts and identify any issues that arise \n Participate in the Continuous Improvement Program \n Must successfully pass assessment testing\n Prefer knowledge of welding, gluing, metal finish, ultrasonic weld inspection, weld destruct, hydraulic, pneumatic, metal processing or data processing\n \nTechnical lead of the team: \n\n Communicate, improve and monitor standards \n Test and adaption of the timelines of the SABs/ASBs\n Coordination of the absence planning (vacation, free shifts, \u2026) \n Execution of one point lessons (in coordination with E5)\n Organize and execute shift organization (according to local regulations) \n Supervision and adaption of SOS and marking/inscription, \n Establish rotation plan (in coordination with the team) and guarantee the adherence\n Guarantee and execute Q-Check (at product)\n Maintain board with indicators/ process folder \n Follow measurements, escalation via E5 if necessary\n Follow the adherence of the team targets \n Initiate and regulate problem solving process, error response to causer\n Develop and update qualification matrix (in coordination with the team) \n Rework in the close environment\n Accomplishment of corrective action process (analysis and allocation of errors, remedial action, testing of the efficacy)\n Support during Q-Stop\n Check of employees according to the adherence of standards \n \nQualifikationen\n \nQualifications:\n\n Completed MBV Team Leader Training Program\n Knowledge of Body Shop operations\n \nHigh school Diploma or GED Required\n \nRequired 4+ years relevant experience; OR relevant certificate + 3 years relevant experience; OR relevant associates degree + 1 year relevant experience\n \nPreferred: 5+ years relevant experience; OR relevant certificate + 4 years relevant experience; OR relevant associates degree + 2 years relevant experience.\n \nMercedes Benz Vans can hand you the keys for an exciting career in the automotive manufacturing industry.
