Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Shop Technician to support both retail and wholesale operations. This role involves repairing, restoring, and refinishing vehicles to pre-accident condition while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is experienced in collision repair, works well independently and as part of a team, and can manage a steady workflow from multiple sources.
Key Responsibilities: (MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS)
- Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, rust removal and repair
- Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, priming, and minor refinishing
- Collaborate with estimators and parts departments to ensure accurate and timely repairs
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Operate tools and equipment properly and follow all safety guidelines
- Communicate progress and any issues with supervisors or team members
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an auto body technician or collision repair specialist
- Strong knowledge of body repair techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to work on multiple vehicles and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- I-CAR certification or equivalent training (preferred)
