The company offers state‑of‑the‑art tools and training to develop skill and safety within well‑equipped facilities.ResponsibilitiesPerform body repairs on commercial trucks and trailers, including cabs, frames, panels, doors, and bodiesRepair or replace damaged metal, fiberglass, aluminum, and composite componentsPerform welding, cutting, grinding, straightening, and fabrication as requiredPrepare surfaces for painting (sanding, masking, priming, filling, and sealing)Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company and customer standardsUse body shop tools and equipment safely and properlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaCommunicate with supervisors and team members regarding job progress and issuesFollow all safety, environmental, and shop proceduresAdditional Painter Responsibilities:Mix paints and coatings to proper specifications and apply using spray equipmentPaint complete vehicles or components, ensuring color match and finish qualityQualificationsBody shop experience required. Bring your strong body shop skills, team player mentality and belief in safety first!High school diploma or GED (technical or trade school preferred)2+ years of experience in a commercial truck or heavy equipment body shop (preferred)Experience with automotive or industrial painting systemsWelding experience (MIG preferred; aluminum welding a plus)Ability to read work orders, repair plans, and paint specificationsStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipAbility to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periodsValid driver's license (CDL a plus, but not required)Skills & CompetenciesKnowledge of commercial truck body construction and materialsProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and paint equipmentColor matching and finish blending skillsTime management and ability to meet deadlinesTeam-oriented with a strong work ethicWork EnvironmentShop-based position with exposure to paint fumes, dust, and noiseUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) requiredCompensation$20 to $50 hourly pay based on experience.
