    Pilates Instructor Manager — BODYBAR Pilates Eagleview (Exton, PA)

    Compensation

    $58,000–$62,000 base, depending on experience — guaranteed. Plus a performance bonus averaging up to $500 - $750/month ($6,000-$9,000/year potential), based on studio and leadership KPIs. Total potential annual compensation: $64,000–$71,000.

    The Opportunity

    BODYBAR Pilates is opening a brand-new studio in Eagleview (Exton, PA) — and we're hiring the person who will define what our instructor team looks and feels like from day one. This isn't a studio with an established culture you're stepping into; it's one you're building.

    We're looking for a Pilates Instructor Manager — someone who leads first and teaches as part of that leadership, not the other way around. You'll set the standard on the reformer, then build a team of instructors who can meet it.

    What You'll Own

    Team & Culture

    • Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing instructor team
    • Set the studio's teaching standard and energy on the reformer
    • Build the instructor culture from the ground up — your imprint, your team
    Studio Leadership

    • Own and strategically manage the class schedule
    • Track KPIs (attendance, retention, class fill) to guide decisions
    • Oversee reformer/equipment readiness and coordinate repairs
    • Partner with studio leadership on sales and local outreach
    Teaching

    • Teach approximately 10–12 BODYBAR reformer classes/week as part of your full-time leadership role — your platform for setting the studio's standard, not a separate job on top of the one above
    What You'll Bring

    Required

    • 1+ year of management experience in fitness or a comparable service industry
    • 1+ year in the fitness industry, teaching or coaching
    • Current or in-progress Pilates/reformer instructor certification (BODYBAR-provided training available for the right candidate)
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Comfortable with scheduling/POS software (Mindbody or Club Ready experience a plus) and Google Workspace
    Preferred

    • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field
    • Prior experience opening or building a fitness studio team from scratch
