Position Overview:

Dishwasher - Responsible for washing all dishes, glassware, flatware, pots/pans using a dishwasher or by hand.  They will need to make sure all items are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and saftey regulations.  They will also assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away in appropriate storage areas.  

 

Line Cook - Prepare and cook menute items in accordance to recipes, quality stadards and presentation guidelines.  Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ensure all food its prepared in a timely manner.  The line cook will also work closely with the full BOH team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.  Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.

 

Prep Cook - Prep ingredients as per the recipes and kitchen needs.  Maintain a clean and organized work station, making sure all food is stored properly and safetly.  Assist chefs by measuring and mixing ingredients and preforming other food tasks as directed.  Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.

Key Responsibilities:

Dishwasher  - $18/hr  – can be monolingual Spanish

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
Ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and countertops. Regularly remove trash and place it in designated containers.
Handle and maintain dishwashing equipment properly. Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Kitchen Manager.
Replenish cleaning supplies, such as dish detergent, sanitizers, and towels, as needed.
Properly sort and organize clean dishes, utensils, and equipment for easy access and efficiency in the kitchen.
Assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away in appropriate storage areas.
 
Line Cook - $19-$21/hr – can be monolingual Spanish
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with the BOH team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away in appropriate storage areas.

Prep cook - $18/hr – can be monolingual Spanish
Prep ingredients as per the recipes and kitchen needs.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all food is stored properly and safely.
Support the chefs by measuring and mixing ingredients and performing other food preparation tasks as directed.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with inventory control by properly labeling and storing ingredients and notifying the Kitchen Manager of low stock levels.
Perform daily and deep cleaning tasks in the kitchen to maintain a hygienic environment.
Assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away in appropriate storage areas.
Show willingness and ability to cross-train across various roles in the restaurant to ensure rapid growth in responsibilities and contribution to team success.
Requirements:
Dishwasher
Previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred but not required.
Must possess dexterity to operate industrial dishwashing machines, handle pots/pans, and other equipment, and perform tasks with attention to detail.
Must be familiar with the measurement system.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to bend and reach overhead often.
Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
 
Line Cook
Minimum 1-2 years experience working in a food production facility, fast-paced restaurant, fast-casual restaurant etc.
Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification, acquired at applicant’s own expense.
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality food.
Must be familiar with the measurement system.
Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
 
Prep Cook
Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a food production facility, fast-paced restaurant, etc.
