Essential Functions
Observe pressure, temperature, and electrical power output; make necessary adjustments to maintain proper operation and compliance.
Perform manual operations by opening and closing valves, as well as operating the computer automation system, to keep all systems operational.
Observe boilers, turbines, and other mechanical equipment to detect malfunctions and leaks.
Maintain all necessary logs of meter readings, levels, and chemistry required for operation.
Test water chemistry as necessary for proper boiler water operation.
Check lubrication levels and add as necessary to maintain safe operation of equipment.
Perform routine maintenance to keep the facility operational.
Monitor and troubleshoot process equipment in the field.
Be able to shut systems down safely and start them up as requested.
Be able to switch boilers and turbines between natural gas and liquid fuels.
Requirements
New Jersey State Black Seal High Pressure License is a minimum requirement.
Blue High Pressure License preferred.
Blue Seal Refrigeration License preferred.
Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of power plant operations, systems, and equipment.
Must have Lock Out/Tag Out experience.
Strong attention to detail.
Team player.
Reliable and dependable.
Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean driving record.
Universal EPA Recovery License.
Must be able to work a rotating 3-shift schedule.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $37.09 - $43.64
