We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture. **Summary** This job exists to ensure efficient operation of all boiler equipment in the plant. This includes maintenance, sanitation, troubleshooting and repair of all mechanical components. The individual in this job will be required to fully understand the purpose and operation of the boiler area throughout the plant and have the ability to make decisions based on sound judgment when a situation dictates. **Key Responsibilities** + Maintains necessary level of communication with team members and other support groups and does so in a participative management style, conducive with operational goals. + Maintains Company standards for safety, quality, food safety, sanitation and GMPs. + Diagnoses, troubleshoots, overhauls and repairs equipment in the boiler and refrigeration and all other utility systems to minimize downtime. + Performs welding for repair and fabrication as required. Performs preventative maintenance on all boiler, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment throughout the facility. + Observes and tests system operation using gauges and instruments. Comfortable with control panel interface screens and HMI's, and knows how to react to alarms and items that need attention from the control system. + Tests lines, components, and connections for leaks. Performs boiler feed water, condensate and cooling tower water analysis and makes necessary adjustments to maintain desirable results. + Monitors the Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO). + Responsible for fryer and dryer exhaust systems, compressed air system, domestic water, hot water, air handlers, glycol systems and cleaning chemical distribution systems. + Maintains the DAFT (Dissolved Air Flotation for oil skimming). **Typical Education** High school diploma or general education degree (GED) **Relevant Experience** 5+ years related experience and/or training **Other Information** Must obtain CIRO certification within 1 year, and 2 years' experience OR recognized boiler safety training. Must provide required tools.
