PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENING IS REQUIRED — Nationwide criminal background check, clean driver's license (MVR), and pre-employment drug screen are MANDATORY for this position.
We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker with immediate growth potential within the company. This is a hands-on career opportunity for a skilled welder and boiler technician who wants steady work, real advancement, and the chance to do serious code work on industrial boilers throughout Florida. Pay is based on experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Boiler tube repair, removal, and installation (retubing)
- Inspect and test boiler tubes for leaks
- Welding and repairs on boiler tubes, pressure vessels, and related components
- Installations, repairs, start-ups, and maintenance on industrial boilers
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics on industrial boilers
- Setting combustion on all types of fuel
- Travel within the state of Florida in a company-provided vehicle, with short (very occasional) overnight out-of-town stays for larger jobs (per diem provided for overnight travel)

Qualifications
- Welding experience required — must be able to pass a 6G welding test and qualify under East Polk's R-stamp welding procedures (ASME Section IX)
- Prior experience in the boiler/mechanical trades
- Knowledge of electrical and combustion, including the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
- Working knowledge of a manometer and multimeter
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to multi-task
- Clean, valid Florida Driver's license
- Nationwide criminal background check & clean driver's license (MVR) required for the hiring process
- Pre-employment drug screen required before hiring is considered — our job sites require a drug-free environment. Please note: a medical marijuana card does not exempt applicants from our drug-free requirement.
- Career-oriented and punctual
A plus (not required): OSHA 10, R-stamp familiarity, or similar certifications
Physical demands: This is a physically demanding position. Must be able to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, climb, and tolerate heat and working at heights.

- Pay: $23–$35+ per hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
