Job Summary:
This role will be accountable for developing, maintaining, analyzing, and overseeing areas associated with bill of materials, inventory, labor and overhead. Information is maintained within the IQMS operating system. Additional components of this position entails proper inventory analysis, standard cost data entry, understanding manufacturing metrics, and analyzing workflow for new product launches.
Knowledge | Experience | Skills:
High School Diploma/GED required. Associates degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred. General manufacturing inventory analysis experience. One year of experience in finance in manufacturing industry preferred. Good communication skills both written and verbal. Attention to detail. Advanced computer skills in Excel and PowerPoint are required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating, maintaining accurate bills of material and inventory items
- Lead BOMs reviews of new product launches to assure accuracy and expected profitability of these new product lines
- Guides ECO Change Form process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; explaining processes and recommending appropriate actions with various areas of the company
- Recording of journal entries, analyzing data, and inventory valuation
- Ensures that proper pricing is maintained for finished goods and raw material items
- Adjust delete and grind inventory locations
- Assist with physical inventory activities including preparation and audits
- Contributes to the team effort by assisting with other duties as needed
