What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns.
- Perform repairs according to Genesis and manufacturer specifications.
- Complete inspections and identify maintenance or repair recommendations.
- Utilize factory diagnostic equipment and repair procedures.
- Produce accurate repair documentation and technician videos.
- Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair recommendations.
- Maintain productivity while delivering exceptional quality.
- Mentor and assist apprentice and entry-level technicians when appropriate.
- Keep current on Genesis technology and complete required manufacturer training.
Qualifications
We're looking for professionals who take pride in their craft.
Preferred qualifications include:
- 3+ years of professional automotive technician experience.
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- ASE Certifications preferred, but not required.
- Mazda or relevant dealership experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
