We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support the accounting team with day-to-day accounting functions and financial recordkeeping across multiple entities. This position will work closely with the Accounting Manager and assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.

The organization has been established for more than 90 years and offers a collaborative work environment, comprehensive benefits, and a salary range of $60,000–$72,000.

Key Responsibilities for the Bookkeeper:

• 
  
• Support the Accounting Manager with day-to-day accounting functions
• 
  
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
• 
  
• Prepare and post journal entries
• 
  
• Assist with month-end close processes
• 
  
• Prepare account reconciliations and assist with financial reporting
• 
  
• Maintain accurate accounting records for multiple business entities
• 
  
• Enter and maintain financial data using accounting software and internal systems
• 
  
• Work with accounting and operations teams to address accounting-related questions and support ongoing business needs
• 
  

Preferred Qualifications for the Bookkeeper:

• 
  
• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
• 
  
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
• 
  
• Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
•
