They offer a collaborative environment where employees are valued and given opportunities to expand their accounting knowledge and skills.Why work here:Stable and growing organization with a long-standing industry presenceSupportive accounting team and strong leadershipOpportunity to gain experience across multiple areas of accountingDiverse responsibilities with room for growthTeam-oriented culture focused on accuracy and professionalismWhat You'll Be Doing as a Bookkeeper:Prepare and file sales and franchise tax returns across multiple states and jurisdictionsResearch tax requirements and assist with registrations as neededPrepare and post journal entriesPerform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliationsMaintain petty cash recordsTrack fixed asset additions, disposals, and depreciationAssist with year-end audit support and 1099 reportingSupport Accounts Receivable functions, including cash posting and invoice adjustmentsSupport Accounts Payable functions, including invoice entry, vendor payments, and credit card reconciliationsAssist with month-end close and special accounting projectsPreferred Qualifications for the Bookkeeper:5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experienceExperience with sales and use tax filings preferredStrong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliationsExperience supporting AP and AR processesStrong organizational and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems#J-18808-Ljbffr
