About the Opportunity - Bookkeeper
We are partnering with a growing organization in the Brentwood area to identify a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting functions, and assisting with reporting activities. The ideal candidate enjoys working with numbers, has strong organizational skills, and can manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities - Bookkeeper

Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger transactions
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts
Prepare and record journal entries as needed
Manage invoicing, payment tracking, and collections efforts
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Generate financial reports and provide supporting documentation for management
Maintain organized accounting files and ensure data accuracy

Qualifications - Bookkeeper

High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
Experience supporting small to mid-sized business accounting operations is a plus
