Bookkeeper

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivables and accounts payables, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting overall financial operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about contributing to the success of our company.



Responsibilities:
  1. Accounts Receivables:
  • Process customer invoices and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Record incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts.
  • Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and discrepancies.
  1. Accounts Payables:
  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payment of bills.
  • Match purchase orders with invoices and verify receipt of goods/services.
  • Record and reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
  1. General Bookkeeping:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.



Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.G., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
