Bookkeeper

This is a temporary, fully onsite position with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay Rate: $23–26/hr

Role Overview

Seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support accounting operations through accurate financial recordkeeping, reconciliations, reporting, and administrative accounting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain financial transactions and account records.
  • Verify, allocate, and post transactions to appropriate accounts.
  • Reconcile subsidiary accounts and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare trial balances and assist with account reconciliations.
  • Maintain organized financial documentation and records.
  • Compile, analyze, and summarize financial data for reporting purposes.
  • Support the accounting team with additional projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience or 4+ years of accounting/clerical experience.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
  • Experience working in a multi-entity environment is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
