Personnel Resources is currently seeking a dependable and detail-focused Part-Time Bookkeeper to support a growing organization. This position is ideal for someone with strong experience in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel who thrives in an independent work environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooks
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Reconcile bank statements and oversee ACH payments
  • Administer and monitor positive pay procedures to safeguard against check fraud
  • Prepare financial reports and create spreadsheets in Excel
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and standard accounting practices

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of ACH transactions, positive pay systems, and general accounting principles
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
