About the Role
A well-established electrical company in South Louisiana is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong full-cycle payroll experience. This role is critical to keeping daily financial operations running smoothly and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Process full-cycle payroll for employees (weekly/biweekly as needed)
- Handle payroll taxes, including calculations, filings, and reconciliations
- Maintain compliance with federal and Louisiana payroll regulations
- Assist with accounts receivable (AR) and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Handle accounts payable (AP), including vendor payments and tracking expenses
- Maintain accurate financial records using Sage accounting software
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Assist with reporting and general office/accounting support
