Our client is a growing accounting firm specializing in the multi-family real estate sector. They're looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team and own the day-to-day financials for a portfolio of residential properties.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations across a portfolio of multi-family properties
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly and flag discrepancies
• Prepare and present financial statements and budgets to clients
• Implement and monitor internal controls to protect assets and improve efficiency
• Collaborate with the team to streamline processes and elevate service delivery
• Report directly to the Senior Financial Analyst

Qualifications:

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience — real estate or multi-family preferred
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and modern accounting software
• Strong attention to detail with a track record of accurate, timely reporting
• Ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball

• Experience with property management accounting platforms
• Background in multi-family or residential real estate finance
