Our client is a growing accounting firm specializing in the multi-family real estate sector. They're looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team and own the day-to-day financials for a portfolio of residential properties.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting operations across a portfolio of multi-family properties
Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly and flag discrepancies
Prepare and present financial statements and budgets to clients
Implement and monitor internal controls to protect assets and improve efficiency
Collaborate with the team to streamline processes and elevate service delivery
Report directly to the Senior Financial Analyst
Qualifications:
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of bookkeeping experience - real estate or multi-family preferred
Proficiency in QuickBooks and modern accounting software
Strong attention to detail with a track record of accurate, timely reporting
Ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball
Nice to Have
Experience with property management accounting platforms
Background in multi-family or residential real estate finance
