Bookkeeper - Part time
Job Location: Petaluma, California
Job Type: Temporary, Part time
Schedule: Monday - Friday; $28-$32/hour
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Bookkeeper? Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day to day accounting functions for a growing e-commerce business. This is a part time opportunity with the potential to expand in hours and transition into a long term or permanent position for the right candidate. This is a great opportunity for a bookkeeping professional looking for flexible, part time work with the potential for long term growth in a dynamic e-commerce environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks online
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Accurately record and categorize financial transactions
- Assist with account payable and accounts receivable processes
- Generate basic financial reports as needed
- Support month end closing activities
- Ensure consistency and accuracy between accounting records and e-commerce platforms
- Assist with cleanup and organization and financial data
Description of Company:
You will support a well established textile warehouse in Petaluma, California.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience with QuickBooks online (required)
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting support experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
