Ace Hardware Hiring: Immediate Opening for a Full-Time Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and screen phone calls and visitors, while greeting with a friendly attitude
  • Process all accounts payable (A/P) invoices and vendor payments accurately
  • Post customer payments and handle deposits efficiently
  • Contact delinquent accounts receivable (A/R) customers
  • Prepare and mail monthly customer statements
  • Support the leadership team as needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma required; some college preferred and bookkeeping certificate beneficial.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Outlook, Word.
  • Bookkeeping knowledge and strong math skills
  • Familiarity with retail computer systems and PDF documents
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask

  • Office-based role using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers
  • Ability to concentrate for long periods while maintaining accuracy
  • Motivated to learn and grow within a supportive team
