Bookkeeper (On‑Site | Temp‑to‑Hire)

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA
Pay Rate: $29-$33 per hour
Employment Type: Full‑Time, Temp‑to‑Hire
Work Schedule: 100% On‑Site

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Rancho Cordova, CA. This is a temp‑to‑hire opportunity for an experienced bookkeeping professional who is comfortable managing day‑to‑day accounting functions in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment. The ideal candidate has strong QuickBooks Online experience and a solid understanding of core bookkeeping processes. This role is fully on‑site.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records using QuickBooks Online
• Process Accounts Payable, including invoice review, coding, and payment processing
• Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, collecting and posting payments, and cash application
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Monitor account balances and investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with month‑end close activities and financial reporting support
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation and files
• Communicate with internal teams and external vendors/customers regarding billing and payment inquiries
• Support audits or reviews by providing requested financial documentation
• Perform additional bookkeeping and administrative duties as assigned
• Payroll support is a plus, but payroll processing is not a primary function of this role

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of hands‑on experience using QuickBooks Online (required)
• Proven experience with:
  • Accounts Payable processing
  • Accounts Receivable, including collections, posting payments, and cash applications
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Journal entries and posting to the general ledger
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be reliable and able to work 100% on‑site in Rancho Cordova, CA

Compensation & Benefits
